Beatha (Life)

Additional Information
Beatha (Life)Beatha, a young female Eurasian otter cub was only about 8 weeks old we found at Altbea, in the North West Highlands of Scotland.  Once the IOSF had been contacted about her, arrangements were made to bring her to the IOSF centre, Isle of Skye.

Uisge and I arrived at IOSF within a couple of days of each other.  Uisge had already been named (which means Water) and so I was called Beatha (which means Life).  In Gaelic, Uisge Beatha means whiskey (the water of life)!
