I am a young male otter cub and my name is Earn. I was about 12 weeks old when I was found at the Bus Station in Dunfermline, Fife. I was taken to the SSPCA and stayed there for a while as I had a suspected leg injury. Then when I was well enought I was moved to IOSF on the Isle of Skye until I am old enough to go back to the wild.

Adopt an Otter in Uganda - Standard Adoption
IOSF are raising funds in support otters being cared for at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). If you would like to help them, then please adopt one of these Spotted-necked otters in their care:

"Small" is a female of about 8yrs of age and was kept in a drum by a fisherman who did not know what she was. When he saw similar animals at UWEC he then asked them to take her.

"Kigungu" is a male of about 5yrs and was recently caught in a fishing net, then kept in a sack for a day before UWEC were informed that he was captured. He is currently in the veterinary unit having been found to have a leg injury and enlarged spleen.

"Cheek" is a 2 yr old male and was handed over for care by fishermen after becoming trapped in a fishing net.
